My path to FuturePoint Wealth

I joined the FuturePoint Wealth team in 2025 after having run my own business in Cronulla as a Certified Financial Planner since 2007. Prior to that I worked for Westpac for 26 years, in roles including Bank Manager and a Financial Planner for the latter 10 years. When I met Ciarán and the rest of the FuturePoint Wealth team, I knew that it made sense for us to work together, not only because of the shared knowledge and approach to business, but knowing we could offer an extensive range of services for our clients. When I’m not at work, I’ll be swimming at Cronulla Beach, playing golf, or training for my next Triathlon.

Why I love what I do

It can be quite daunting to put your trust in someone when it comes to your future financial situation, so, by placing people at ease then helping people to track towards their own realistic goals – it’s very satisfying.

My favourite career moment so far?

When I resigned from Westpac, after half of the clients that I’d signed up were given to another adviser, half of the original client base followed me anyway. This was a fantastic vote of confidence that really put wind in my sails.
